Hello! My name is Hannah Good and I am a speech language pathologist with my bachelors degrees from Western Michigan University and masters degree from Grand Valley State University. After graduating, I began my career in Chicago and discovered my passion for treating children in early intervention and early childhood populations. I moved back to Michigan in 2020 and have continued my work with the pediatric population. I have a passion for parent coaching, early language, and augmentative and alternative communication.
I embrace child-led therapy, neurodiversity affirming practices, and total communication. All forms of communication are beautiful and accepted!

Hi! I’m Rebecca! A speech-language pathologist with 8 years of experience working in both school settings and private practice. I’m a proud graduate of Grand Valley State University’s Speech-Language Pathology program, and I’ve dedicated my career to helping students find and use their voices—both literally and figuratively.

I have a special passion for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), early language development, and supporting middle and high school students as they navigate the complex world of social interaction. Whether I’m helping a student connect with peers, build language skills, or communicate through AAC, my goal is always to empower them to express themselves confidently and authentically.

I believe every individual deserves to be heard, and I’m committed to creating communication opportunities that are meaningful, accessible, and empowering.

My name is Morgan McClafferty, and I am a speech-language pathologist entering my 8th year in practice. I completed my undergraduate degree at Michigan State University (go green!) and received my masters degree in speech-language pathology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. 

I have experience working in brick-and-mortar schools, private practice, and teletherapy. I truly love working with all of our wonderful students, but my passion lies in speech sound disorders. I love working to differentiate errors, and identifying the best course of treatment to take - it makes me feel like a detective! I also enjoy elementary-aged language skills, including narrative language and describing

My name is Molly, and I am certified Speech Language Pathologist.  I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Michigan State University, and my Master’s Degree from The University of Toledo. I completed my clinical fellowship in a pediatric setting and have always had a strong passion for working with children. I am trained in gestalt language processing and I have a strong interest in early childhood development. I love using a play based therapy approach with kids and enjoy watching them grow in all areas of communication.

My name is Samantha Kadian and I am both a school and pediatric speech-language pathologist. My love for working with children lead me into a career in education, first as a second grade teacher, before I discovered my passion for speech-language pathology in both the school and clinical setting!

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Education with Elementary Certification from the University of Michigan and my master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Eastern Michigan University.

I love working with clients on a wide range of communication goals, including speech-sound disorders, expressive and receptive language, gestalt language processing, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), childhood apraxia of speech, and literacy!  I believe in child-led, neurodiversity affirming therapy and look forward to working with your child! 

Naomi Cavanaugh is the Enrichment Coordinator at Birmingham Speech & Language and the founder of Great Lakes Mama LLC. She believes raising a Michigander begins with introducing children to the places and traditions that have shaped generations. Through thoughtful partnerships with Michigan’s cultural institutions, heritage brands, and local businesses, she connects families with the history and craftsmanship that define the character of the Great Lakes State.

Hi! I’m Lauren, a Speech-Language Pathologist with four years of experience providing pediatric speech and language therapy in an outpatient setting. I’m a proud graduate of Central Michigan University’s Speech-Language Pathology program and have experience supporting children with a wide range of communication needs.

I have a special passion for early language development, motor speech disorders, gestalt language processing, and child-led, play-based therapy. As a clinician trained in Natural Language Acquisition (NLA), I enjoy helping children discover their unique communication styles through individualized, engaging therapy experiences.

I believe every child deserves to feel understood and confident in their ability to communicate. My goal is to celebrate each child’s strengths while helping them build meaningful communication skills.
